Radiesse Lidocaine

Description

Radiesse Lidocaine combines calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) with lidocaine to reduce pain during the injection and improve patient comfort. It offers an immediate volumizing and contouring effect, together with a long-lasting stimulation of collagen. The addition of lidocaine significantly reduces pain during and after the treatment (for example, the pain scores drop from 6.7 to approximately 2.3 immediately, and from 1.1 to approximately 0.3 after 60 minutes).

Application areas and duration

• Suitable for facial folds, contour of cheeks and jaw and restoration of volume in the hands.
• The results usually last from 12 to 18 months, with continuous stimulation of collagen that prolongs the benefits.

Safety information

• Not recommended for people allergic to lidocaine or with bleeding disorders.
• The side effects may include redness at the injection site, swelling, bruising or nodules.
